Winter Adventure

Day 1 – Arrival Day
Arrive at the Bollastaðir fishing lodge by Reykjdalsár River.

Day 2 – Fishing Trip (10:00–15:00)
Guides will arrive at the lodge at 9:30 AM to take the group to Langavatn, Kringluvatn, or Vestmannsvatn, depending on conditions. The guides will use snowmobiles or modified jeeps to transport anglers and equipment to the fishing site.

Day 3 – Snowmobile tour (11:00-13:00)

We will ride snowmobiles for 2 hours through the untouched nature of North Iceland, experiencing the freedom and beauty of the mountains.

After the snowmobile tour we recommend visiting the Mývatn Nature Baths or exploring the wonders of the Mývatn region before heading home. Highlights include Dimmuborgir, Grjótagjá, the geothermal area at Námafjall, and Skútustaðagígar craters.

Additionally, you can book optional activities such as whale watching in Húsavík or a dog sledding adventure in Reykjadalur.

What to Bring for Ice Fishing and snowmobiling
Warm boots suitable for cold weather and outdoor clothing designed for freezing conditions. Gloves, hats, and sunglasses. It’s important to bring a good packed lunch.

We provide helmets, winter overall and gloves for the snowmobile ride.

Luxurious Accommodation in Northern Iceland 

Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Iceland, discover the newly renovated Reykjadalsá fishing lodge.

Our lodge offers a luxurious and comfortable stay in a accommodation with four spacious double bedrooms, each featuring its own modern bathroom.

Unwind in the expansive living area or relax in the hot tub where you have a chance of seeing the northern lights. The kitchen is fully equipped with dining table for 8-10 people.  

The entire house has underfloor heating.

House Rules:

• Beds are made, and room cleaning is included in the price.
• Guests are responsible for keeping the kitchen and living room clean.
• The hot tub must be emptied after use, and the cover secured with straps.
• Guests must remove all trash and food from the house upon departure. A trash container is located near the house.

Season:
Winter adventures are available from December 10th to March 31st.

Price:
From 85.000 ISK per person, minimum of 2 people per trip.

Additional Night:
10,500 ISK per person.
