Adventure Snowmobile Tour

Adventure snowmobile tour Akureyri

Duration: 4-5 hours
Location: North Iceland
Price from: 145.000 isk

The freedom of covering all kinds of terrain on a snowmobile is something everyone should experience. It is hard to find a parallel activity as adrenaline packed and rewarding as snowmobiling in the mountains and the view from there certainly emphasises that. This tour is suitable for people who have snowmobiled before or are used to motorsport.

In this snowmobile you will have the option of two types of snowmobiles.

154″ Track 850cc Mountain Sled:

This sled is designed for more experienced riders and is better suited for tackling challenging terrain, including mountain slopes and deep snow.

With its larger engine size and longer track, it provides more power and better traction, allowing you to navigate steep inclines and rugged terrain more effectively.

It offers greater manoeuvrability and stability, making it ideal for adventurous riders who want to explore mountainous areas and reach higher elevations.

136″ Track 600cc Touring Sled:

This sled is a more versatile option suitable for riders of varying experience levels, including beginners and those who prefer a smoother ride.

While it may not have the same power and traction as the mountain sled, it still offers decent performance and reliability, particularly for touring and exploring groomed trails or moderate terrain.

Its shorter track and smaller engine size make it easier to handle and control, making it a suitable choice for riders who prioritize comfort and ease of use over extreme off-trail riding.

Ultimately, the choice between the two sleds depends on your skill level, comfort level with more challenging terrain, and personal preferences. Safety should always be the top priority, so be sure to be clear about your experience level to help us choose the sled that best suits your abilities.
