Getting to Iceland

Which airports should I arrive at?
While Keflavík International Airport (KEF) is the main gateway to Iceland, our tours are based in Northern Iceland, close to Akureyri Airport (AEY). From Akureyri, you’re a short drive from our key locations: Akureyri, Húsavík, and Lake Mývatn. Many traveler’s also drive around Iceland as part of their adventure, making it easy to reach us. -
Do you offer airport transfers?
At this time, we do not offer airport transfers. Most guests arrange their own transportation, whether by renting a car or joining a pre-arranged group tour.

What should I bring?
Northern Iceland’s weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend packing:- Waterproof and windproof outerwear
- Insulated layers for warmth
- Sturdy hiking boots
- Gloves, hats, and scarves for colder days

Do you provide equipment?
Yes! For specific tours, we provide specialised equipment such as fishing rods, winter gear (snowmobile suits and helmets), and other necessary items. Details will be shared during booking.
Transportation and Accessibility

Do you offer transportation during the tours?
Most of our tours include transportation between activity sites. However, some experiences are self-drive. The tour description will specify if transportation is included. -
Are your tours suitable for traveler’s with mobility challenges?
While many of our activities involve physical exertion or uneven terrain, we do offer some tours that can accommodate traveler’s with limited mobility. Contact us to discuss your needs, and we’ll recommend the best options.

Most lakes for Ice fishing allow you to take fish, but specific guidelines vary. We’ll provide all necessary information before your trip.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made 90 days or more before your tour will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days may incur fees. Contact us for full details. -
Do you require deposits?
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking. Early reservations are recommended to ensure availability.
